Hawk

 

I spent the day driving from Sugar Land, Texas, to Springfield, Missouri.  It took about fourteen hours, but I could have done it faster if never had to feed myself or the truck.  Going through Oklahoma, I started noticing Hawks in the trees along the highway.  The fellow (or fella?) in the photograph was in a tree very near the road, and was the only of three I tried to photograph from the truck that did did fly away.  If you know what kind it is, please let me know.
